Pink Guava Pulp

Pink guava, a tropical fruit, is well-known for its distinct flavor, fragrance, and pink-colored pulp. Guavas are categorized based on their flesh color, and the pink guava pulp is sweeter than the White Guava Pulp/Puree and has a more robust aroma.

The pink hue of the pulp is due to the presence of carotenoid pigments, which are also responsible for the coloring of carrots and tomatoes. Pink guava is originally from South America, but it is extensively grown in various regions of Asia and South Africa.  In India, the major regions for pink guava cultivation are Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, and Maharashtra.
